Pushing Ahead Family Activity Day

Free family fun cycling event.

There will be a host of pedal-powered fun and cycling confidence building activities, including paint-spinning, rubber duck racing and disco bikes. Aimed at encouraging Norwich residents to try out two wheels the team will be on hand to answer any bike related questions, anything from finding out about local cycle routes, to learning how to ride a bike.

You can pick up a map for our family discovery trail riding two miles, you can go at your own pace, just find the clues and answer the questions along the way. You’ll get a goody bag on completion of the Trail, and you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 shopping voucher.

There will be skills and games sessions, bicycle health checks and maintenance workshops, and an adventure course with bikes provided. And the 3Sixty BMX stunt team will show off their daring skills and tricks in a series of displays throughout the day!

Meanwhile, people will have the chance to ride some really wacky bikes, courtesy of Doc Spinoff and his Tricky Tricycles. Don’t worry if you don’t have a bike, there’s lots to enjoy and there will be bikes you can use to take part in most activities.
